Notes

This is a numbered series of 100 printed cachet covers commemorating important events in the history of flight, including space. Not all 100 covers are listed here, only what is available.
The majority of the cachets are printed in black, however there are some that are printed in color and these have been noted in the description below.
Covers are cancelled on the anniversary of each historical event at the location where it occured, when possible.
In many cases the stamps used are related to the event. In some cases the cancellation on the cover may fall on the stamp(s) and may be hard to read, if that is the case, then all of the covers for that Milestone of Flight number are the same way.
Most of the covers below have a descriptive filler or insert telling about the event.
The majority of these covers have a Smithsonian address label, however a few might have a typed address or no address instead.
The early numbers in the series of 100 are hard to find.
