| APOLLO 11 LAUNCH AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY, SPECIAL DOUBLE CANCELLED COVER. First cancel is dated July 16, 1969 with a Cape Canaveral FL machine cancel on Apollo 8 stamp (for the launch of Apollo 11). Second cancel is July 20, 1970 with a Cape Canaveral FL hand cancel on an Apollo 11 stamp #C76, (for the 1st anniversary of the first Moon Landing). With a blue DOW-UNICOVER printed cachet for Apollo 11, of the Apollo 11 astronauts heads in their space suit with their names down the left side of the envelope. The main part of the cachet is a drawing showing the first step on the Moon, with text: "Apollo XI the First Step", with additional text on the cachet: "Project Apollo, First Manned Lunar Landing." The DOW-UNICOVER name is at the bottom of the cachet. | ||||

With a blue DOW-UNICOVER printed cachet for Apollo 11, of the Apollo 11 astronauts heads in their space suit with their names down the left side of the envelope. The main part of the cachet is a drawing showing the first step on the Moon, with text: "Apollo XI the First Step", with additional text on the cachet: "Project Apollo, First Manned Lunar Landing."
