With a 2 color Official tracking station rubber stamp cachet showing an astronaut on the moon with the lunar module in the background and rubber stamp text reading: "ETR Grand Bahama Tracking Station, Apollo 11 First Manned Lunar Landing". Cover was serviced for the moon landing date and received a Jul. 20, 1969 rubber stamp date and signature of the servicer (who is also a Telemetry tracking station technician). Cover were held for cancelling on the splashdown date and received a Freeport Bahamas hand cancel, 24 July, 1969. IMAGE | ||||

With rubber stamp text reading: "ETR Grand Bahama Tracking Station, Apollo 11 First Manned Lunar Landing". Cover was serviced for the launch date and received the signature of the servicer (who is also a Telemetry tracking station technician). | APOLLO 11 MOON LANDING TRACKING STATION COVER, a USAF Eastern Test Range(ETR)/Grand Bahama Island (GBI) Tracking Station cover, with a SPECIAL 3 color Official tracking station rubber stamp cachet having a U.S. Apollo 8 space stamp (#1371) affixed, which is locally rubber stamp cancelled with an astronaut and a countdown circle that reads: ":5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Countdown Apollo 1969, July 20", it is placed so that the small astronaut figure is on the moons surface of the postage stamp. Cover also has a rubber stamp impression of the logo of the ATA Space Unit. The word text on the cachet reads: "ETR Grand Bahama Tracking Station, Apollo 11 First Manned Lunar Landing". This cachet was only applied to a limited amount of covers for the servicers collection & personal friends, Covers also received the signature of the servicer & were dispatched to the island postoffice for cancelling & received a Freeport Bahamas hand cancel, 23 July, 1969.
